In my opinion, Hillary doesn't add much to the ticket with Obama as president. If he wants experience, I think he'd go out and get someone with some actual experience - Richardson, as an example. Especially after the way she's slammed him, I don't think he wants her on the ticket.
The converse is true for that last point - after hitting him so hard, I don't think Obama is Hillary's ideal VP. At this point though - fighting for political survival - I'm sure she'd give him VP as part of a deal.
But I doubt Obama would take it, and I think he'd overshadow the top of the ticket anyway. You don't want to run in an election where 5,000 people come to hear you speak, and 10,000 come to hear your running mate speak. |
