Must not be a liberal head you've put on. It was "liberals" that this Westboro Church originally got all bent out of shape over...protesting at the funerals of gay-bashing or AIDS victims; showing up at gay pride marches; crashing public events which "promote or condone" homosexuality, etc.
I know of no liberals (at least among those I hang with) who share the belief you just posted here.
