My father considers him one of the greatest presidents in US history, since I was born in 1984 I didnt pay attention to much of the world except what was going on in my own house. We were still living in NYC at the time until 86 when we moved upstate. My father credits Reagans policies the reason we were able to move out of the cesspool that was NYC at the time. Many of the left wing partisans will say the Reagan was a racist but quite the contaray here is what he said about us Latinos

In addition to saying that we are Republicans but just dont know yet, whatever that meant I supose. Here is another kicker for those who said Reagan was horrible to the middle class my father and my mother were and still continue to be Union workers. My father is a Union Electrician which became Possible because of Gerald Ford telling NYC to go **** themselves. Reagan for all of his accomplishments had his downfalls.
1. He corted the Evangelical right which has set the agenda being decided by them and them alone but hopefull 2008 will break the religious moonbat hold
2. Amensty he gave illegal aliens amensty that is crap no matter how you slice it.
Nobody is perfect but he was pretty damm good for someone who was governor of California.
