Time is the only thing that I know of, I’ve been toting some scar tissue since June of 1968. The scars have smoothed over the years (abdominal wound) it all depends on how the wound was originally closed/sutured. Mine was done in a military hospital; it was not the most experienced doctors doing the job. Had rotator cuff surgery last year, and the scar on my right shoulder is barely visible, so things have improved over the years, and when the doc can take his/her time. Hope this is some help. |
