Romney wins Michigan GOP primary

Romney wins Michigan GOP primary - Yahoo! News

So much for McCain being the front runner.....now I think it is safe to say that the GOP race is wide open....and even Giuliani is back in the race.
The definitely makes for an interesting race if you follow politics.
Romney is the one GOP candidate that I would vote for (as long as Obama is NOT the Democratic candidate - otherwise he would get my vote).

With Romney winning Michigan and placing second in two of the other races...he has made the strongest overall showing of any of the candidates. It will be interesting to see what happens in South Carolina....If McCain wins.....he edges back up but Giuliani can still make a showing on Feb 5....if Huckabee wins South Carolina....I think Giuliani becomes the front runner (something I don't want to see)....but I also see Romney having a chance....especially if he does well in Florida.

Interesting....if you listen to the race analysis....it looks like good news for the Democrats.....independents stayed home.....so any hope that the GOP had that independents would back McCain in the general election if he wins....appears to have fallen by the wayside...it appears based on his showing in Michigan....McCain is a weak candidate if the hope is attracting independent or democrats crossing party lines......
